Tonight I Dined: Broad Ripple Brewpub

This is madness. Good madness. I'm talking the best vegan pub food I have ever had! Get yourselves to Broad Ripple Brewpub, Indiana's first brewpub and an establishment that knows a thing or two about vegan food. The menu has so many options of vegan as-is or easily veganizable dishes. I ordered the vegan fish and chips. It came with 3 giant pieces of firm tofu coated with a light beer batter breading (of course the beer was brewed on site) and deeep deeep fried. The chips were thick cut pieces of potato that were perfectly salted and the vegan tartar sauce...omg. Also, I salute the genius in the kitchen for pairing quinoa tabouli with this heavy dish to bring a brightness and represent some green on the plate. Broad Ripple is a must if you're in Indianapolis!
