Texas VegFest 2017

This past weekend was Texas VegFest in Austin! It was sprinkling, but luckily the major rain held out...the next morning there was a heavy storm and tornados ripped through the Lake Travis area. I got to the fair about 2 hours before it was to close, and unfortunately the two food trucks that I never tried before (and therefore was dying to try) were sold out for the day! I'll have to catch 'em next time I'm in ATX. Here's a rundown of what I nibbled on at VegFest 2017:

Not beer, LOL: To drink I got a Buddha's Brew Ginger Kombucha

Above: Polenta cake topped with brussel sprouts salad, and drizzled with chocolate balsamic sauce from Bistro Vonish. 

Above: As my main I got the Seed Catering Co : Lentil and mushroom meatball sandwich with marinara, pesto and basil

Chocolate dipped frozen banana with coconut topping from Bananarchy

Towards the end of the fair the Lightlife booth was giving out free vegan hotdogs with Sir Kensington Mustard and ketchup. Yaas free! My mouth is drooling over that yellow mustard...
