Tonight I Dined: Cafe TH

Cafe TH is a Vietnamese restaurant in Houston that you would miss if you blinked...but don't miss 'em. The parking lot is quite small, but there is plenty of street parking around this area that was the original Houston Chinatown. Oh, and did I mention that Cafe TH has a vegan section on their menu! They are open for lunch, close, and then reopen for dinner. I went for lunch and ordered the bun dao hu, fried tofu over vermicelli noodles with a cold salad and lemongrass sauce. The dish is already flavorful and well seasoned, but the lemongrass sauce comes on the side so you can add as much or as little as you want! I ordered the small version of the dish, and it was sizeable, and a great deal for only $7. There are four other vegan dishes on the menu, and they all sound delicious. The owner was incredibly nice and was chatted while he cashed us out at the register. I can't wait to head back!
