Morning y'all. Houston hasn't really cooled off, but that doesn't mean my tastebuds aren't ready for the flavors of autumn. For this simple breakfast I peeled and sliced a sweet (not tart) apple and sautéed it in some Earth Balance, added some cinnamon, nutmeg, apple pie spice and maple syrup. I used this as a topper for some oatmeal and added some additional maple and spice to the top. It was so delicious, and had just the right level of sweetness.
