Something I Tried: Lenny Boy Kombucha

Spilling the tea and coming at ya with another local kombucha find. I purchased this Lenny Boy in Jackson, MS although it is brewed in Charlotte, NC. This kombucha is strawberry flavored with hints of hibiscus and lemongrass. The tea is on the sweeter side, and takes like real fruit, and has a great fizz. I drank it with some spicy Indian food and the pairing was delicious on a hot day. It was very refreshing!

Btw- Lenny Boy has a beet kombucha, although it wasn't in stock. OMG I'm giddy over the idea of the funk of the fermented tea with the earthiness of the beets. That sounds like a combination that would startle the tastebuds, in a good way!
