Something I Tried: Pita Pal Hummus

I thought it might be a nice change of pace to feature a local product review, so here goes! Pita Pal hummus is made in Houston and I was drawn to the cute packaging of this Texas Spicy Hummus. Plus, the label says vegan in nice big letters below the ingredients. This hummus was super smooth, and I really loved the the chili flavor throughout. The hummus packs a punch with its heat, which is good because it stops me from eating the whole container at once. This is perfect on a bagel with some sprouts or as a dip for chips.  I give it 7/10 stars because I'm really particular about my hummus, and I prefer a mellow garlic flavor to hot hot heat.
