Something I Tried: Heidi Ho Chia Cheese
I made a plate of nachos and it was too beautiful not to share. The base was lightly salted blue corn tortilla chips, topped with fresh spinach, charred hatch chiles, black beans, Heidi Ho Creamy Chia Cheeze, and hot salsa. Mmmmm. Heidi Ho is one of my favorite vegan cheeses on the market, and it is best eaten warm. It's made when pureed veggies, chia, and spices (no unnatural ingredients!). A 10 oz. jar will set you back $5-6, so I have to dock a point, because it is too expensive to buy all the time!
