Something I Tried: MTO Kombucha

I stopped into  Fed Hill Natural Market on Light St. in Baltimore and wouldn't you know they had a fridge of kombucha, with a local brand I had not yet tried! MTO Kombucha is produced in Vint Hill, VA and they offer a whopping 20 flavors. I opted for the lime basil and y'all know I like some tang...but this was mouth puckering sour. The basil was not detectable by my palate once it was blown away by the acidity. I am not sure how or why it was so darn sour...but I do know that I would love to give this a second chance, because it was clearly a good quality booch. I think I would try their apple cinnamon or mint flavor next and hope that it was more mild. Stay tuned for when/if that happens!
