Tonight I Dined: NuVegan Cafe

NuVegan is a 100% vegan fast casual restaurant that has such a great selection of hot sides, cold sides, and baked goods. Their portions are huge and the quality is excellent, with great variety. I had previously visited their DC location, but this review is for the College Park location. The space is open and light filled from the large windows and is really clean. I ordered the red curry tofu, which had the perfect level of spice with a touch of creaminess and the sautéed cabbage (Nu realllly knows how to do cabbage right with light seasoning to let the veggie shine). I also got a strawberry cupcake for dessert and it was a treat to have such a fresh strawberry taste throughout the super moist cake and icing. This is an absolute must for vegans if you're in the College Park for a filling meal and awesome vegan desserts!
