Tonight I Dined: Sprig and Vine
About 40 miles outside of Philadelphia is New Hope, PA, a small borough with historical buildings and a vibrant art community along the Delaware River. Oh, and I did I mention the small town also has an amazing vegan restaurant! I stopped by Spring and Vine for lunch with a friend and we were met with a friendly server and beautiful decor in an open, light filled room. To start off, I ordered a bottle of locally brewed sole kombucha, the peach, sage, turmeric flavor. I love when spices and herbs make their way into this bubbly tea! Sooo good. To nom on, I ordered the soup of the day, which was smooth and creamy, the ramp bread appetizer which was an amazing pairing to dip in the soup, and a side of the chili broccoli which was spicy and tangy. My friend ordered the beet carrot ravioli topped with an array of tasty and pretty greens. The dessert menu took my breath away but I was way too full...I'll definitely be back and next time I will save room for a sweet treat!
