Tonight I Dined: Ripe Food Truck
Vegan food truck in H-Town?... yes please! I caught up with Ripe at the weekly farmer's market on the Rice University campus. I got the bistro burger with a mushroom lentil patty, cashew chèvre cheese, roasted red pepper aioli, and balsamic caramelized onion on a wheat bun with a side of and housemade ketchup. It was decadent and fancy even though it's from a truck. But since it's from a truck I felt alright shoving my face right in there and getting down to business...I could not get enough of the bold flavor. I have to catch up with them again to try the Jackfruit carnitas!
