Tonight I Dined: Las Vegans Edition
I recently spent a few days in Las Vegas. I really enjoyed exploring the sights, sounds, and tastes of Sin City. Here is a roundup of some of the Las Vegan delights I indulged in...
Slice of Vegas @ the Shops at Mandalay Bay
http://www.sliceofvegaspizza.com/
Slice of Vegas has an extensive vegan menu as well as plentiful omnivore options. It is inside the mall shopping area of Mandalay Bay but still has a cool atmosphere with a large dining room and a small area to stand and eat. The service was quick and very friendly!
Hussongs Cantina @ the Shops at Mandalay Bay

I really enjoyed my meal here, there are vegan options that I have never seen on a menu like fish tacos and chili relleno. The food was pretty good but the service was a bit lackluster and my bf did not enjoy his meal as much those he gets at some of the more authentic Mexican places he goes to back in Texas.
O Face Doughnuts @ Downtown
http://www.ofacedoughnuts.com/
This doughnut shop has an extensive selection of vegan doughnuts (yay for choice!) as well as some regulars. It. Was. Awesome.
Simply Pure @ Container Park
http://www.simplypurelv.com/
Container Park is a cool outdoor urban space that is built entirely from recycled shipping containers and crates. Simply Pure is a vegan cafe with a great selection of mostly raw foods to go. This is a must in Las Vegas!
Northside Cafe @ SLS Casino
http://slslasvegas.com/dining/northside-cafe
This 24 hour cafe is tucked in a back corner of the ultra hip SLS casino. The waitstaff were incredibly nice, the service quick, and the food reasonably priced and delicious! Even though there are only a few vegan options, I highly recommend Northside any time of the day!
Wazuzu @ Encore Casino
http://www.wynnlasvegas.com/Dining/CasualDining/Wazuzu
All of the Encore and Wynn casino restaurant menus have a vegan section. So many of the restaurants sounded incredibly delicious, but I only ate there once because even the casual dining is on the pricey side.
I was too hungry to snap a picture of my tofu drunken noodle platter with thick cut noodles, fried tofu, sweet tomatoes and scallions. It was truly delicious!
