Vegan Product Guides

I hope that readers new to plant-based eating will find these product guides useful! Finding vegan options in the snack aisle, pharmacy, and fast food spots is easy. Being vegan isn't as restrictive as people once thought (it's not just fruits and veggies), and you can still eat your favorite foods!

*Yes, some alcohol is not considered vegan. Barnivore is a guide but it is not exhaustive and there is a long way to go with confirming which brands are or are not vegan. Expect that your beer and wine won't be labelled as vegan-friendly in the stores in the US. In general, most beers are suitable for vegans, although Guinness was famously not vegan, but due to demand went vegan in 2017 (see article here).

Many wines are processed/filtered with eggs or gelatin. While these ingredients are used in the process and not present in the final product, there may be trace amounts.
