On the Road

Now that I'm officially settled, I can announce that I have moved from the Lone Star state to New England. While Connecticut is much closer and more similar to where I grew up, after 7 years in Texas, it feels funnily foreign to me.

Additionally, the adjustment from living in a city with over 2.3 million people and an area of over 600 square miles will be great...luckily, there are smaller towns with a lot of character all over Connecticut, and NYC and Boston are only a short train ride away. 

I will of course miss my favorite food spots in Houston: Local Foods, Quan Yin, San San Tofu, and Aladdins, to name a few. But I am looking forward to all the new vegan goodies I will try in my new home. The excitement for the newness just outweighs my sadness for leaving something so familiar, the place that had come to be my home. Stay tuned for tons of new content as I sample new favorites.

any time of day, their prepared food section is super vegan friendly and labelled (vegan, vegetarian, gluten free)
