Spain and Portugal Roundup

This summer I went on a vacation to Portugal's Algarve and Spain. I packed in so much vegan eating in the week-long trip, I'm impressed with myself. Planning ahead by searching for restaurants on HappyCow was critical in having a successful trip. Here's the rundown of what I ate (in no particular order):

Gusto | Seville, Spain ($$-$$$, vegan-friendly)
Vegan gazpacho with raspberry, pepitas, olive powder and tofu

Puro & Bio | Seville, Spain ($$, vegan-friendly)
Pistachio and ginger & cinnamon gelato

El Enano Verde | Seville, Spain ($-$$, vegan)
Plate of the day (soy sauce veggies and satay soy protein on brown rice)

A Venda | Faro, Portugal ($$-$$$, vegan-friendly)

Pro Tip: this is the only restaurant I visited that did not label vegan items, and you must rely on your server to help you order vegan.

GoGo Ice | Faro, Portugal ($-$$, vegan-friendly)
Vegan fro-yo

Outro Lado | Faro, Portugal ($$, vegan)
Lemon cake with whipped cream, Buddha bowl, pesto pasta, cauliflower leek soup
