Smoothie Chronicles: Chia Peach

I've busted out the Vitamix once again for the smoothie chronicles! I've been into adding chia seeds to the bottom of smoothies (not blending them up because I don't care for the texture) so that the smoothie is more filling. Peaches have been so amazing this summer, so this was the perfect fruit to add to the frozen banana base (which should form the base of any great smoothie IMO)! Grab a straw and enjoy!

Chia Peach Smoothie
2 frozen bananas
2 medium peaches
1/4 tsp real vanilla extract
2 Tbsp chia (+water or almond milk)

1. In a large glass (I used a 24 oz marinara sauce jar) add chia seeds. Add water or almond milk and stir well. Add enough liquid so that it makes a gel. Set aside.
2. Blend banana, peaches and vanilla. Add water if needed to thin out.
